Ready to use Indoors and Outdoors for potted plants and raised beds

  • PLANTING/REPOTTING

    1. Choose a clean pot with drainage holes at the bottom (to prevent water from

      accumulating and reduce root rot).

      2. Fill pot level full with Nurture Blend™ Premium Potting Soil - do not compact

      the soil.

      3. Make a hole slightly larger than the plant's root system.

      4. Gently set plant in hole and add soil to hold the plant firmly at the same depth

as it was in its previous container.

      5. Water thoroughly, allowing water to seep through the drainage holes. Repeat

      a second time.

      6. Allow soil to dry out between additional watering’s.

    RAISED BEDS

    1. You may fill an entire raised bed with Nurture Blend™ Premium Potting Soil

      or top off as needed.

      2. Dig a hole slightly larger than the plant's root system and gently set the plant

in the hole. Add soil to hold the plant firmly.

      3. Water thoroughly. Repeat a second time.

      4. Allow soil to dry out between additional watering’s.

    AMEND POOR QUALITY GROUND

    1. Dig a hole 2-3 times wider than the plant's root system. Mix the dirt from the

hole with an equal amount of Nurture Blend™ Premium Potting Soil.

      2. Set the root system in the hole and add the mix of potting soil and existing

dirt to firmly hold the plant.

      3. Water thoroughly. Repeat a second time.

      4. Allow soil to dry out between additional watering’s.

  • Water as needed. DO NOT OVERWATER. Plants should generally be allowed to dry

out between waterings. Checking the top two inches of soil with your finger or a

toothpick is a way to see if the soil is moist or dry.

Quality plant care includes watering with one teaspoon of water-soluble plant food

mixed with a gallon of water.
